Forty-two millimetres inside is the step used by many 42 mm blanks, so this tube turns up as a slip-on sleeve, a reinforcement collar or a grip section fitted over an existing tube. The 1.0 mm wall keeps the added diameter small and the extra weight close to nothing, while the glossy twill leaves the weave visible on the finished part. Both surfaces are finished, so the sleeve can be bonded with epoxy or simply slid into place as a protective wrap.

Supply comes in 500 mm and 1000 mm. Lengths and bores outside those listed are quoted individually; 10 pcs is the minimum custom order.
