Collection: Carbon Fiber Solid Rod

Solid carbon fiber rod rather than tube — the full cross-section is material, so it is stiffer than a tube of the same outside diameter and noticeably heavier.

Diameters run from 1mm to 20mm, in 500mm and 1000mm lengths. These are pultruded, so the surface is smooth and matte with the fibres running along the rod, and no weave pattern — normal for this process.

Common jobs: quadcopter arms where a tube would flex, kite spars, robot linkages, and pushrods.
